We have both completed accredited 3 year full-time training in
the Technique and have been working with the Alexander Technique for over
ten years.
Our main work is from our studio in Warrnambool, but we also work with
groups and individuals at different locations as necessary. We can be

Teachers
Philip Shaw BSc(Hons), PhD, M AUSTAT
Philip started his professional life as a research scientist and
since then has worked in the fields of environmental engineering, quality
management, production and IT. His interest in Alexander Technique was
kindled over a decade ago, and led to him travelling to Oxford to train
and qualify as a teacher of the Technique. He is a member of AUSTAT, the
professional association for Alexander Technique teachers in Australia.
Philip's students have come from many walks of life including scientists,
teachers and musicians; his aim is to make the principles clear and
applicable to the daily lives of his students.

Jeanette Hajncl B Mus, Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace
Training, M AUSTAT
Jeanette is a creative musician (performing on recorders and
flute) and her training in Alexander Technique focussed on application of
Alexander's principles to music making. As well as working with musicians
she has taught the work to horse-riders, tennis players and the general
public in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
